This day trip was really more than recommendable. Our guide Connor was very friendly right from the start and did a great job guiding us through the tour. Even if you think at the beginning that 12 hours are very long, in the end it flies by (this is also due to the fact that the tour is very varied, humorous and personalized). From my point of view, it really was a 10/10 experience, which I absolutely wouldn't want to miss. The bus driver was also absolutely adorable and extremely friendly - a very good driver. I thoroughly enjoyed my Edinburgh: Glenfinnan, Glencoe & Fort William Day Trip and would definitely recommend it! The weather was absolutely perfect sunny, clear skies, and full visibility – which meant that every picture stop and viewpoint offered breathtaking scenery. A couple of things to note: when I booked, it was advertised as a sprinter van, but on the day it turned out to be a coach. The coach was completely full with limited legroom, which can feel a bit cramped given the tour runs from around 8am to 8pm. As a solo traveler, I would have preferred the smaller group size that was initially suggested. The lunch stop didn’t have many food options, so I’d recommend bringing along your own packed lunch. That said, there were plenty of toilet breaks throughout the day, which was reassuring on such a long trip. A big highlight was our guide, Gregor, who was absolutely brilliant. He kept the journey engaging with fascinating history and stories, which added so much depth to the experience. Overall, despite the minor downsides, this trip is well worth it for the incredible views and excellent guiding. A memorable day in the Highlands
